Our Story

Hammer Entertainment has been producing theatre in Hamilton since 2007. After one year producing original musical reviews Artistic Director Jason Dick announced their first full season launch with the off broadway hit 'A New Brain'. Each year Hammer Entertainment produces 2 full musicals, a musical review and a play. Hammer Entertainment has been called 'The best that theatre can be' and in spring of 2010 their production of 'Lucky Stiff' was called 'Ther best entertainment deal of the year' by View Magazine and Gary Smith of the Hamilton Spectator called their production of Rent 'One of the best shows I've seen all year'

In 2009 Hammer Entertainment moved to their current home at the Westside Concert Theatre on King St W.

Hammer Entertainment has grown quickly and has no intention of stopping anytime soon. With the help of their artisitic team and a partnership mentality with all of their sponsors Hammer Entertainment has made Hamilton it's home now and for years to come.
